It's going to a crazy weekend of poker, while I head 2hrs west of the cities to take my shot at winning the tournament. Over 600+ people are expected and my first goal is to make it to the final table. After lasting 12 hours of playing I will be going heads up with another opponent to win a seat to the World Series of Poker!

The night before we will be playing a team tournament which will consists of 8 players per team probably over 15 teams.  We have a solid team and definitely capable of winnin g the team match. "Good skill" and some luck to me as I make my way out there.

Enjoy the weekend.

007 Here I come

Thursday, November 30, 2006

I love the times when a quick site of some sort can drastically changes one's mood for the better. It happened after lunch today, as I was walking out after purchasing stamps–voices near the Christmas tree formed to a beautiful symphony. The choir produced a melody that instantaneous brought me into the spirit of the holidays. My stride slowed and I immediately felt grateful at the state I'm at. It was so nice to hear people singing so serene and relaxed in an atmosphere occupied by busy professionals. In the midst of the afternoon, I truly appreciated the choir's presence and the songs they sang.

Feels great to be back home. I start full-time next Monday. Hopefully to be moving by the end of this week. Gotta buy new furniture. Can't hardly wait...
